During a particularly rough time in my life, I would spend a lot of my time driving around and sight seeing to occupy my mind. I often kept sprays in my vehicle as well as multiple variations of car fresheners. From the little rearview mirror hangers to little satchels of scent pieces thrown under the seats. I tried everything and they just wouldn’t last! I needed something that worked long term without spending so much money on failed attempts. So why not make them myself? I began to experiment with different scent oils and products to absorb the scents. After trial and error I landed on little plastic scent beads that absorb fragrances really well. All I needed was molds and colors to make them pretty!
My mother quickly discovered mine hanging up in my vehicle and wanted one for herself. Which in turn, made all her friends want one too! I slowly began making these car freshies for more and more people until eventually I turned it into a small business! My parents bought my first Cricut machine to assist in making my freshies more customizable and eventually I fell down the rabbit hole of things to do with a Cricut! I picked up various sets of skills and “hobbies” which I have now turned into my business that I absolutely love! With the support of my friends and family, I have slowly built up my company. So now I get to share with people all over to add a boost of smell good and creativity to their lives!
